Justin Timberlake made quite an announcement today. I can hear the pulse of millions of fan girls hearts all the way from here.

Oh God. I think I’m hyperventilating. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m a huge Justin Timberlake fan. He can pretty much do no wrong in my eyes….. though that’s probably an exaggeration. While I like seeing him in movies and on SNL, I really love when he’s doing music. So of course I, like many others, were very very upset when he said that he didn’t have any intentions of getting back into a recording booth (at least not any time soon). BUT FEAR NOT LADIES (and gents)! Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy back after all.

It all started last night, January 9th, when JT vaguely tweeted today’s date and a time. Obviously I immediately went onto my phone and set up an alarm so that I would for sure be awake and at a computer for whatever announcement was going to happen. I mean, it was so obviously a set up for an announcement. I immediately had all the feels. Then, it was time. I clicked the link, and something magical happened. A narrative starts. Some blah blah blah about how he loves his music and obsesses to make sure that it’s perfect, all while Justin walks down a hallway. Then he opens a door, steps into a recording booth, and says, “I’m Ready.” Tears well up in my eyes, I stand up quickly, and I applaud the shit out of him. ATTENTION, ATTENTION. HE IS READY, FOLKS. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been ready for this my entire life.
