Oh no, there’s a new Rebecca Black ‘Friday’ in town…

Poor thing. Nicole Westbrook’s new song about Thanksgiving might be worse than Rebecca Black’s Friday, and that’s saying something.

Last year, to my poor ears’ horror, Rebecca Black soared to infamy with her “song” FridayWell, there’s a new song out by Nicole Westbrook called…. yep, Thanksgiving, and it’s giving Rebecca a run for her money. If you haven’t heard the song before, good for you. But really, the video is so funny that everyone has to watch it. I apologize in advance for what I’m about to subject you to.

Alright, let’s have a serious conversation. Who the fuck thought that any part of this concept was a good idea? I mean, the girl isn’t a bad singer. She is not nearly as bad as Rebecca. Also, it’s so painfully obvious that this song was written and produced by the same people that did Friday. The setup of the lyrics is similar (yesterday was Thursday – last month was December. All the “we, we, we”s) and that asshole in the turkey costume is the same black rapper from Rebecca’s video. He even drives up in the same car that he was driving in Friday. Also, who the hell let their children go to Thanksgiving dinner with that man? Does that not give off pedophile red flags to them?! And isn’t she a bit young to be cooking Thanksgiving for everyone? Where are her parents? What were they thinking? LOOK AT YOUR LIFE, LOOK AT YOUR CHOICES.

This is bad. It’s so, so so so bad. Her parents probably thought that by taking her to the same people that did Friday that she would have a chance at becoming rich and famous like Rebecca. Except no one will ever take Nicole seriously. Poor thing is only 12 years old and she will forever be known as the girl that turned into a meme for singing into a turkey leg. I feel bad for her. That’s what happens when your parents make poor decisions for you. At least she’ll make lots of friends with the Toddlers & Tiaras girls in 20 years during group therapy.
