Step into the Whittaker School of Magick, where power isn’t just a gift–it’s something to be controlled, contained…or taken. 👀 what’s one more addition to add to the collection? 🤷‍♀️ not to out myself as your elder millennial auntie 👵🏻 but I actually started this whole online book thing back in 2010 with just a lifelong love of reading and a blog. And I was here, ARC reading and doing book clubs and part of other online bookish spaces way before bookstagram and booktok. And then life really kicked my ass, chewed me up and spit me back out and I stopped posting about books, and eventually I stopped reading books all together. And every time I thought I would start again, I’d peek online and see how much these online spaces were changing and I told myself I couldn’t start up new again. I barely read 10 books in almost as many years. I just couldn’t escape into them the way I used to. happy November (aka soup szn)! Here’s my October wrap up….. which was rough LOL. I can normally read a book every day or two, but life has been realllllly kicking my ass lately. So while I was only able to read 8 books, at least it was a really good reading month. Quality over quantity! As far as I’m concerned, November 1st is officially Christmas season and after the FUCK ASS October I just had I am fully ushering the season in with some holiday books 😌🎅🏼 Yall know how much I love anything with Greek vibes and I am *SO* excited to share the cover reveal of She Dies At Dawn by @roxanederouen! pssst come here, your friendly neighborhood book pusher is back and I’ve heard you’re looking for your next favorite read 🔍👀 Happy release day to Flowers Are For The Dead by @author.rachelpendley! These characters are so hot and I’m so excited for you all to meet them! less than a week away from halloween and I’ve got a banger lineup of recs for your TBR!
