Things get a bit strange in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. Strange, but not all that creepy. Rating: 4/5
Disappear Home by Laura Hurwitz is a beautiful take at the hard life of two young girls in the early 70s. Rating: 5/5
Stefanie Lyons’ young adult novel Dating Down is a story about love gone wrong, told through poems. Rating: 2.5/5
Amy Poehler’s “Yes Please” is (refreshingly) filled with sex stories, life advice, and SNL memories. More like, “Thank you!”. Rating: 4/5
